Taiwan Machine Tool Export

Metal cutting milling machine tool exports totaled 1.275 billion U.S. dollars, increased 61.5% compared to same period last year; forming machine tool exports 355 million U.S. dollars, up 27.6%. In the exporting country(region), the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong became the main export vertical milling machine  tool area, accounting for 43.5% of total exports, reaching $ 687 million, an increase of 42.3%; followed by the United States, accounting for 6.7% of total , $ 153 million, a substantial increase of 137.2 percent over last year.

From January to May in 2011, Taiwan milling machine tool industry is in good shape, both exports and imports have achieved substantial growth. The exports of Taiwan machine tool worths $ 1.58 billion, up 53.6%; imports totaled $ 357 million, an increase of 66.0% in the period.
